Xplane 11.5b14 keeps crashing due to rxpGTN

Recommended Posts

Airplane is the Carenado Citation II S550.  I updated to the latest GTN but it didn't help.  Here's the message from the log...

Quote

XCD Scenery Technology: Out of range, stopping
DataRefTool: Loaded : 1347 commands/datarefs from messages; 1141 are ok
--=={This application has crashed because of the plugin: rxpGTN}==--
(Art controls are modified.)

Hi,

Is this CTD just like that or upon a specific action?

No action.  I'm sitting there doing something completely unrelated to the GTN.  I haven't even done anything with it yet during the flight.

You might want to review the post I've linked above and adjust your TCAD settings accordingly. This is most likely the culprit.

It's now 1/6/21 and I just updated with the latest 'GTN XPL setup' then opened Xplane 11.51.  Opened okay but by the time I got a beverage Xplane had crashed.  Log was same old  "this application has crashed - art controls are modified."

This has nothing to do with the RXP GTN though.

Perhaps not but the name of the game is XP11.51 and Laminar rules.

I can tell by your post you have a question.  What I'm saying is regardless of how flawless RXP GTN750 is, at this point in XP11's development it is persona non grata and XP says 'my way or the highway'.  This can or will change - the big question is when?  XP says 'addon developers stay alert' and they say 'who, me'?
