ELITE DANGEROUS THROUGH THE LENS OF THE HP REVERB G2

Recommended Posts

In this video we are shown Elite Dangerous through the lens of the HP Reverb G2! You can check out contrasts and black levels (of my preproduction unit) and also there is a direct comparison with the Rift S!

I'm really hyped for this one. The Reverb v2 is really good but I'm definitely getting this one to replace it. According to another hands-on review it's supposed to be even sharper in picture than the v2 with better colors, contrast and brightness. Plus you get the headphones from the Index which are said to be fantastic.

I just wish I we did not have to deal with WMR, or that Oculus would have gotten off the pot and given us a true successor to the Rift.

Is Reverb G2 having the best resolution?

Among consumer headsets, yes. Both Reverb v2 and the upcoming G2 have a resolution of 2160x2160 per eye, but the G2 is said to be even clearer because of new lenses and new tech.
