But like i say P3Dv5 continues to load and works OK?

And the windows update is for Net framework.

Cheers Ray.

Hmm ok, this is very weird.. I might need to increase to .NET next version. I will try to replicate on my end first.

Does the normal AILRP interface load?

No this what you see when it normally loads then disappears on it`s own you cannot click on it, if you are not watching the loading process you would not know, it may affect other programme's but i have not seen it, and i don`t want to delete it as it could affect something else i am an Alpha insider for MSFS and except all windows updates.

I understand. What I am asking is, if you can open AILRP without problems as it is compiled using the same settings as the config checker window that is crashing.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Hi Ray,

You getting this error when you open AILRP? what antivirus are you using? I have seen these .NET errors before with AVAST, AVG and BitDefender after such windows update because the antivirus need to be updated accordingly to the operating system.

Can you try to disable your antivirus temporally and see if you can open the application without errors?

Regards,
S.

I have AILRP excluded form my AV and runs as administrator, the same as my sim and addons.

I understand, but what AV it is? as I said I have seen faults with these antivirus because the way they want to execute the .NET code in a sandbox, and because Windows 10 has updated the .NET modules the AV fails to correctly sand box the application resulting in an unhanded error like this due to a fault with the AV solution. There are also AV solutions that despite of adding programs to exclusion, they require these programs to be added to multiple exclusion lists and even so they ignore the exclusion list. Bit-defender is quite famous for it..

Most of the time the problem fix it self after some weeks when the AV solution update their modules, but if you let me know what AV it is etc, I might be able to provide an interim solution. So far I am unable to replicate the problem with the latest updates applied, I tried with Kaspersky and Norton and everything is working correctly, no errors.

Ok thanks.. then I have no idea why you would get this error.. I will re-compile the software with .NET 4.8 today and push and update to see if it clear it. But it is very weird as nobody else is reporting this issue at the moment..
