I get it. Here's what I do not understand. How did you assign the buttons and knobs when it doesn't have support for MSFS 2020?

How can I switch from P3D to FSX without having a FSX installation on my current pc?

As the described method to run Goflight with GFDevFSX.exe in MSFS seems only work with FSX setting.

You don't have to.

Just run GFDevFSX.exe once on cockpit and you are ready to go. I don't have any sim other than MSFS and it works.

I show how it works for me: https://youtu.be/wG_vaYplzj8
You need the Go Flight code (from my OneDrive): https://1drv.ms/u/s!AvYOuI_9pyBihdxAnFF4Cgpr5LkkvQ?e=J5HNSv

Next job is to buy the PollyPot (PP) code and try that out .. as the EFIS is still a paperweight !
PP say that the EFIS needs manual setting up .. that's what's holding me back at the moment (and another £/$30).

FSUIPCv7 is very powerful, but just like the PP code, depends on the FS2020 SDK .. which does not expose all the simulator GUI events (and reading the offsets tables published gives me a headache! e.g. here --> https://aviation.allanville.com/ under "Flight Simulator 2020 (FS20) specific" section).
I don't know how to set up the EFIS with FSUIPC .. but I do map EFIS buttons to my custom views in the sim .. so not a complete waste !
