Will flight simulator 2020 come to steam?

Recommended Posts

Hello to all.

My question is this.

I have a purchased copy of fsx thanks to steam.

Will the new up coming sim that's coing out on August 18th, come to steam?

If so, how can we tell the difference between fsx and the newer fs 2020, or will the newer fs 2020 program just be a upgrade from fsx?

If so, I wonder which of the three versions they'll upgrade fsx to?

Or, if we attempt to purchase the newer flight simulator program, how we'll be able to tell that we have the newer copy so that we may remove the older copy of fsx?

Just asking so that I make shure that I grab the correct copy of the newer flight simulator.

Because the $120 version is looking interesting.

Very Thankfully Yours,

The Blind Pilot

There is a good chance it will come to Steam at some point, but they haven't said anything about it yet.

As it is a entirely new product, it would appear as a new product in Steam with separate entries in the store and your library. It would certainly not be an upgrade to the existing FSX Steam Edition.'

New MSFS is really not any update from FSX 🙂. It's a completely new simulator, but inspirred by FSX functions. So it's sure, that MSFS will be a standalone product, not as upgrade from FSX. Probably will be avaiable in Steam in some future, but nobody knows when yet.
