I'm sure they will be just as expensive as the current crop of 2xxx cards, but it might force significant price drops for the 2xxx cards held in stock by retailers.  Then again, the 3xxx cards are supposed to outperform the 2xxx cards by a wide margin, so will it be worth buying a discounted 2xxx card and surrendering performance?  Things to ponder.

Not if the last upgrade is anything to go by some 1080ti went up in price, and Nvidia have already stopped making some of the 3000 series, and i don`t see them dumping the AIB partners in it again making them take old stock.

They could loose some to the red team.

Ray -- I think you meant that Nvidia has already stopped making some of the 2xxx series (and 1xxx series) since the 3xxx series is not out yet :)

Correct my slip, we will soon know the price if what they say about the cost of DDR6 then more memory more expensive, this is the biggest cost factor on the new game console according to reports.

Well, if they are ceasing production of the 2xxx cards before the 3xxx are available for purchase, then nope, no price drop.
