The OP's plea is going to keep coming up due to the earlier than expected release of MSFS resulting in an ongoing cadre of 4.5 simmers who will just skip v5 altogether.  In other words the usual rapid move of most simmers to a new P3D version may not happen this time.  Some flavour of P3D is going to be needed for a while yet but for many it will not be v5 unless of course MSFS turns out to be Flight v2.
