CLOSED BETA COMING 07.30

The team has started preparing Closed Beta for release next week.

We will be posting full build notes with the build release.

 

CLOSED BETA INVITATIONS

We are sending new invites starting today.

People that receive their invites between now and 07.30, will be given access to the Closed Beta Preview build.

Today we’re release a little teaser for an upcoming Partnership Series announcement.

Bah, I didn't want that response. It's basically telegraphing that they aren't gonna get all the issues fixed before release.

Yes, I was thinking the newest series of shots wasn't that impressive until I saw that one.

It also means that they are going to continue working on the sim to add improvements, features and updates until they get it to where they want it.

They took a page out of the X-Plane and P3D book there. 

Either way, my tray table is now down for the long haul. Give me aircraft addons.

I know. I just wish they would have called this release early access. It would make for a much smoother launch if everyone came in with level expectations.

But there's no way - no possible way they could have corrected the entire planet plus dozens of complex aircraft for day one. Surely it is much better that they are committed to improvements over the long term? I expect to see issues. I also expect them to be addressed, where reasonably possible. And we don't know what the state of the sim will be on day one.
