Two things are still unclear : offline and cache

Featured Replies

I understand that the cache was not working in the alpha as it was presented by Lionel and that the offline mode was not enabled.

It seems that the "content creators" had a special preview version different than the alpha. Still nothing or did I miss a video. ? I am talking previews, not leaks.

They are unclear by design, even in a media preview there are things they can't talk about.

Thanks. It is a crucial point for many out in the internet-challenged boonies,

From a leaker, I have understood that the alpha cache was using a 1/ FIFO saving algorithm 2/ during a flight. Both making the cache useless.

I am interested in downloading a route/region during sleep time to use the next day and  to use the offline terrain as a last resort fallback. Thus gathering a library of often used sceneries until the fiber comes.

It might be time that MS gets out the wood on that one. It is not like it was an user request as it was presented as a  feature in EP 1 World.
