To be honest, that music has always sounded like it belongs in a really cheesy corporate promo video from 1985.

Cue montage of lots of politically-correct well-scrubbed people in business suits, in front of big phallic buildings. Being careful to include every race possible, and some disabled people. Cue voice over: 'Higher, faster, stronger, Megacorp is shaping the future. For future generations (cue pics of kids playing in fields). With environmentally friendly projects around the world, we're thinking global, and acting local.'

Actually, I'm surprised they haven't got some awful excuse for what passes for music that 'da kidz' are all into as the soundtrack on the new sim, what with it going on XBox.

when i first got fsx i liked that music. but i couldnt find a way to turn it off so it eventually drove me mad.

Since I bought FSX in 2006, and finally moving over permanently in 2016, I've had it turned off.

 

These last few days, however, I've had it turned on.
