MS Flight Simulator 2020

Recommended Posts

Will your products be available for MSFS2020?
Maybe I'm tired or not patient enough, but I cannot find the answer to this question that has probably been asked and answered many times.
Forgive me, but what good is a flight simulator with out Reality-XP ?

Agree but we will need to be patient.  The software development kit has not been released that we know of to developers like RXP.  And if development was underway, any release of information would be tightly restricted by a non-disclosure agreement.

I would kill to have the reality xp steam guages, nav guages, and garmins.  The stock guages don't even come close in fs 2020. I try to avoid glass panels, but if I have to do it I'd wish for a rxp g1000.  Is that in the works?

When RXP arrives for MSFS we may be able to use RXP popup gauges.  Have no idea if the default aircraft provide configuration utilities that allow integration into the virtual cockpits.  Perhaps someone will chime in about that.  I am in the middle of a new system build and so far unable to download and work with MSFS.  To get VC integration may require waiting for add on aircraft.  Time will tell.

I am on the fence about installing FSX-SE on the new system, but may have to do so for some flying.  Otherwise I fear withdrawal from RXP GTN and GNS gauges.  I rely on them heavily.

As the new MFS doesn't support (yet ?) dll modules, it seems to be difficult to have GTN / GNS working. And WASM seems to be very limited. I'm not optimistic.
Same for Goflight modules (perhaps they can make somes things by simconnect). But goflight has totally disapear. Total silence.

and using a sim without my rxp and my Goflight module...i don't want

For the GoFlight issue you can look to Spad.Next --- it supports tons of devices including GoFlight.

However like a lot of other apps -- even vatsim -- MSFS broke Simconnect before release.  Apparently it was fine in the alpha and the Beta but they made changes that broke it and then released never having givin it to the Alpha/beta testers....

We are currently getting Frame Drops from the Main Thread hiccups when any device with simconnect makes a connection to the sim.

Any news on this intriguing question? And if yes, is MSFS 2020 compatible to the current installers (GTN & GNS-V2)? - maybe in an updated version - or will it be a new product? - In other words: Will a GTN I purchase now for FSX/P3D be usable with the MSFS 2020 as well?

Thanks,

 Frank

I don't believe it is coming to MSFS anytime soon, although I do not speak for RealityXP.

I would love to hear that support for RealityXP on MFS2020 is confirm, do you have any informations?

The issue reportedly revolves around the so far limited scope of the MSFS SDK (software development kit) and Asobo has not been falling all over itself to provide what is necessary for may product developments.  Avionics and Weather addons are among those finding themselves without what they need to move forward at this time.

I'm really looking forward to when RXP does provide MSFS 2020 support.

I've purchased and installed MSFS 2020, but am reluctant to use it until the GNS 530 unit is fully supported by RXP. It's just not the same when all my hardware is in working order but my GPS display.

For now, I will patiently wait and continue to use P3Dv5.
