I canceled my Microsoft store purchase and went to Steam (hope I made the right decision) but I believe they charge you when you order it.

I presume so. I got an email today with a link to the 'terms and conditions' (which I actually read lol).

I assume that is because they've now taken the money and it is officially a 'contract' when that happens. I would hope so given that I clicked the buy button way back on the 14 July, which is coming up to nearly a month ago now.

Things are starting to move at a brisk pace I see. I ordered from Steam so I was charged that moment. Kinda makes it more 'official' now that the MS store is charging.

People are only just getting charged for the game? Went and got it on steam on Thursday the 30th the same day it was announced for the platform. Money was taken on Monday. Guess Steam don't wait around.
