with those VRAM +10GB DX12 games will have plenty to spare. P3D V5 is having some breathing room.

Has it been reasonably confirmed that current generation power supplies will work with the 3090 (or whatever it's called)?  I've read some tech bloggers reports on the new power connectors, however many say they will include converters.  I'm planning on upgrading my PSU from a 750w unit to a 1000.  Prices look good on the RM1000x.  But nervous to buy it and find out it won't be a good match.

That’s the one I’m talking about.

hey @G-RFRY  No real new info here.  I suspect other than rumors we won't get much until their key note on Sept 1.  But I'm very excited to move on to the high end card in this series.  In P3D (at 4k) I routinely can max out my 1080ti.  And that was in V4.  Now in V5 I'm still running 4k but dialed textures down to 2048 instead of 4096.  Doesn't happen often, but just the other day on landing at FSDT ORD in MD88 on vatsim went over my vram cap taxiing to the gate.  So I want the new card for graphics performance and VRAM.  I suspect when MSFS moves to DX12 it will be hugely needed.
