NA Alaska Southern Issue

Recommended Posts

Looks like a mesh issue.  You can open the airport with ADE and change the field elevation to match the mesh elevation, and possibly also put in a flatten polygon under the field as well.

I have a elevation issue with the default airstrip 4Z5 and Orbx NA Southern Alaska. How to fix?

v4 or v5?  Important difference.  If v4 and you have Orbx Vector then you need to run the AEC configurator within the Vector control panel.  If v5 then there is no AEC with Vector.  I've seen airports do this when they had an AF (AFCAD) file not compatible with the v5 sloping runway surfaces options.

I assume this is a default runway in the middle of no where.  Helps to know which version and if you have Vector to actually provide meaningful assistance.
