Here is the link to the announcement.

Hopefully the quadrant will be built on contactless sensors as well. I've asked the design team about it.

Yes, would be perfect successor for the Saitek Throttle Quadrant then.

Well, it will be a good successor for Saitek- the quadrant will have "long-life potentiometers" as VKB explained. Which can be anything from 50K to 2M cycles' lifetime. Let's wait and see.

VKB make great stuff. I use the Gunfighter MkII and it's excellent. I'll probably wait for their TECS throttle that's coming out early next year but good to see them expanding into the GA space.
