That history of FS video brought a tear to my eye.

I have such amazing memories of the 88 version, the version that really got me into the series (my first flight sim was Solo Flight, on Commodore 64)

PS: I just learned that Solo Flight was designed by Sid Meier!!!

Moving on... Every time I see a shot of ice on the windshield, it makes me increasingly keen to fly nice and high to experience it for myself. It looks mighty pretty!🤠

 

Also, I think I did actually see it in the options in a video, but I assume you can assign a tail code to your aircraft so that them skies aren't full of planes with "ASXGS"? I'm wondering if that maybe stands for "Asobo Studios (x) Games (and) Simulations" or somesuch?

They know, we know they know, and we know by now that your upset about the tree size. 

Anymore on the trees and the post will vanish, don’t ruin another topic with the endless complaints about it.

Its really getting old after all this time, especially when it’s been acknowledged by the developer.

Seattle looks absolutely stunning in the screen shot. I guess it demos the best quality of ortho images and 3D models, given that this is where MS headquarter is.

There are also other areas, like Indonesia that look stunning from screenshots I have seen. It's sometimes a little random.

It’s actually an inside joke. On another forum a guy wanted a topic pinned and rather than saying pin it he said pine it. It kind of caught on so pins became pines. People would be like “pine it” rather than pin it. Hence the reason he always gets 🌲🌲🌲 when I pin his updates.

Oh god, this is still happening? They stated in some huge Q&A that they were fixing tree issues. They said they are fixing the areas, like downtown LA where there are trees in the middle of the road. Man, even if there are problems with the trees, they’ll fix it. It’ll either get fixed or it won’t, and if it’s not report it.
