Pay attention to your settings to avoid stutters

I did find in my testing that if you select Ultra, but you have low internet speed, mine is 20Mbps, it will throw a warning and eventually will freeze and send you back to start - i had to back down my graphics settings.  Im down to medium at the moment.  So for those spending on hardware, you better make sure you have the bandwidth to handle the load or you'll have to back down your settings....just FYI

Thanks for the information.

I thought I read somewhere in the early beta that it would be possible to download an area before you fly, but if that is not the case and SmokeDiddy's post is how it will be then I am pleased I have not purchased the sim. It will be the first flight sim I have not purchased in 35years of simming.

Yeah, it seems a bit of a ridiculous notion, you could have a great system, but not so great net, and that is the result. Not very good.

The only attention I'm paying to is "Ultra" settings. 😀

My plan initially with FS20 is to cross Siberia with a small GA in VFR conditions (waiting for the weather when necessary).

Reading this thread makes me think that’s a smart plan regarding performance.
