787 Dreamliner Video from Squirrel

Recommended Posts

Here is a great video about the Dreamliner. I am definitely getting the MSFS Premium Deluxe version that has this plane.

Looks like it's finally possible to change the aircraft registration, he's using G-SQRL

Unfortunately I see small stutters looking outside the windows. That I have seen on many preview vids..

Like a 1990’s supermodel, looks fantastic but suffers from questionable erratic behaviour

I haven't (yet) seen this particular video but this HUD is seriously not collimated. uhh 🙄 Well, let's wait for post-release fix then.

Where have you seen things about the HUD? It’ll be collimated - on a 2d screen it has to be. Do you mean it doesn’t have a fixed eyebox?

So is it just the 787 that gives bad FPS?  That would explain why Chewwy is getting bad FPS.

Does GA aircraft give good FPS then?

I've seen it on some live stream and it does absolutely not align with the outside view. Really really not. What I couldn't see is if the virtual image appears actually ahead of the aircraft. From what I've seen I'd wonder if it did. But that's fine, there will be 3PDs taking over.

Ok. Would be good to see it in a video. On the aircraft you sit high and forward to put the HUD image in the right place. The seat position is quite unusual compared to other jets. I wonder if this doesn’t lend itself to simulation. Would have to see the video to check it out.
