See here for example. I don't think he moved his eyepoint though to see more details about the implementation.

My first Flight Simulator on a Commodore Vic 20 could follow the needles of a localizer but in 2020 this sim cannot follow or even display needle?  I'm starting to regret my purchase of the super duper deluxe version.  Oh well we will see on Tuesday.

Ok. Well to start with, it’s wrong in that the HUD display is all green - there’s no colour variation. The lines also aren’t thick enough. Without him moving seat position it’s difficult to tell how successful the implementation is otherwise, but it looks like he’s sitting too high and too close. In real life to improve that you’d lower your seat and move back a little.

When you’ve got it in the right place it looks like this;

For what reason did you pre-order? It's software, it's not like there's limited stock.

Because all the alpha and beta testers were saying you won't regret your purchase, its the best thing ever.  I believed them.

…and having major FPS issues. He's running a 9900K and 2080Ti at 1440, with most settings at "High" or even "Medium" (i.e. not Ultra), and is getting under 30 FPS from the cockpit — at one point, it even dropped to 17 FPS.  And he's streaming using OBS on a separate computer, so that isn't causing a bottleneck.

He just said he's at 4k, downsampled for the stream. Has he changed it?

Yes he did change it.

May all your landings be safe ones!

I think having major fps issues is relative. I get 5fps, sometimes 7fps in P3D. I look forward to getting 17fps with excitement!

All? Let me doubt it.

Well, that’s not good then.

A comparison video between the preview build and the release build regarding performance would be helpful right now.

I don’t think Squirrel had the same issues and he’s running a lot of settings in Ultra and this is just specifically the 787 so we shouldn’t be too worried.

17 fps ? A dream come true!
