PMDG 737 NGXu Cockpit TOO Bright

Recommended Posts

Howdy...it seems that I have turned on a light source in my cockpit and I cant find the switch to turn it off.  I've checked all the usual suspects including dome.  Any ideas?

TIA,

-Braun

PS...tried to insert screen shot but to no avail

I'm having this same issue.  Dome lights are off.  Emergency lights are armed and capped.  I can push shift+L and lights turn on and off, but this ambient light remains.  Any suggestions would be great!

All lights on (Shift+L)

NGXU all lights on

All lights off (Dome light off, Emerg. lights armed and capped)

NGXU all lights off

Could it be an external light like a light on a pole at the gate? It looks like you are near the terminal.

In the old NGX the dome lights were controlled internally by the smoke system, so if you have a key bound to it (default is I--capital i as in india) and (accidentally?) turn it on with that, it'll be stuck on until you toggle it back off the same way.

Not sure if the NGXu works the same way, but I'd say it's a good bet it does.

I sometimes experience the same problem. It seems to only happen when I load a saved situation inflight(so not on the ground with the engines off) where I had the dome light on while saving. I haven't found a fix for it yet.

Best regards, Eric
