Yeah, you'll probably get an email, but if not, just try the MS flight sim icon on your program start menu in about 20 hours, and I daresay it'll start doing its thing.

In the meantime, as a back up, I have ordered my dispatch horsemen to make haste to you with a message. Assuming they make it though no man's land unmolested, they should get to you in about two weeks.

Hope they're not navigating by the sun and moon - they might get lost in a forest.

Or in the grass.

They just posted on Twitter that people that bought on the Microsoft store can begin downloading on a rolling schedule depending on where you live.

For me (Central US) it’s at 0500 UTC August 17th.

Ahhh yes. My mistake. I saw August 17th and didn’t see the 18th in the middle of the post .

So basically if you live east of the Eastern Time Zone you are better off buying it from MS Store, you will get it at midnight your timezone

If you live West of the Eastern Time Zone you are better off buying it from Steam, because you will be able to download it at midnight Eastern Time Zone, therefore earlier for you if you live west of that time zone.

If you live in the Eastern Time Zone it makes no difference Steam or MS Store it will be at midnight from both of them

If you already purchased it from Steam, and  you live East of the Eastern Time Zone, too bad for you 🤣

For me (Central US) it’s at 0500 UTC August 17th.

So that basically means in central we get to start downloading at midnight like previously thought or am I missing something?
