Kiribati success. Downloaded perfectly and rather quick. Setup old logitech force3d with basic controls, and been flying around my city. Smooth on ultra 9900k, 2070s, 32gb.

I feel sorry for those guys running the MSFS Research Study. 

How are they ever going to explain to management why 200% of the population of Kiribita bought it on the launch day?

Can't wait to this finishes downloading... Unfortunately, I'm sitting in a summerhouse, with 'only' a 50 Mbit connection ... it's been downloading for 2 hours and are around 35% done... Zzzz 

I originally bought it with Steam, but I can download it, as I had a Game Pass (for $1) already... Hmm - I wonder what will happen tomorrow, if I point my Steam library to the folder I installed the game? Would it recognize it?

am I the only one with speed restricted to 20mbit/s ??? I normally have 80mbit/s

I'm downloading from central Europe with a 1 Gbit connection. Download drops or stops very often. Currently speed is circa 10 GByte/hour🙄.

I had the disc-issue. Solved by buying the Game Pass for 1 Euro.

My  speed is 0 - 400 Mbits/s.

No, unfortunately not. It should be available at Midnight on your old local time before moving to Kiribati.

So as it turns out, MSFS is incompatible with the insider preview of windows. It wouldn't even start. After reinstalling windows I'm finally downloading the game. When moving to Kiribati I thought I would be among the first to fly lmao. <insert word not alloweds here>

This probably sounds stupid, but I'm waiting until my region's release time just so I don't mess anything up. Idk what. 🤪

It switches between downloading and extracting the files. That is why it seems like the download stops.

I have a Gamepass Marketplace question for fellow citizens of Kiribati: I see the Premium Deluxe "Upgrade" for $85 in the Marketplace. If I buy that, and end my Gamepass subscription, do I still get to keep FS Premium Deluxe or does that $85 only buy me the privilege to use it while paying a monthly Gamepass fee?

I7-9700 (no overclocking), 16GB RAM, 1G NVMe SSD, RTX 2060. Running great at 1080p with a USB Xbox 1 controller. The only crashing has been into that mountain runway in the challenge and into western Denver after stalling shortly after takeoff from KDEN.

 It seems in your haste to beat the download launch time YOU may have caused problems. Why folk cannot just wait beats me..

We are aware of an issue affecting some customers using the Windows Store who are being asked to insert their game disk. The development team is investigating the cause, and working on a fix.

Please note, part of the issue may be caused by users with Xbox Game Pass changing their timezone on the Windows Store in attempt to download early.

We expect a fix will be ready soon.
