Any objective review out there?

Ok, i understood FS2020 is visually beautiful.
Reviewers cannot consider just this.
I want to hear something about:
1 - Bad stuttering i see in every video. I experienced it with beta at any setting (Ryzen7 3800x  @4.3 + 2080ti + 32GB RAM @4.0) and hoped that final version wouldn't stutter. I was wrong looking at the final version's videos. Still heavy stutter on machines like i9 + 2080ti, even much more powerful than mine.
2 - If i do not have a reason to fly, an objective to reach, a challenge to face... I get bored, no matter how visually beautiful is what i see. Do you remember how FSPax changed your simming life?...

So my friends, what do you think? And can you redirect me to any review made by a real simmer? In this moment, i am not going to buy it.

Honestly the recent Twitch streams from Chewwy94 were quite objective.  Yes he was glowing about the scenery but was very honest about stutters/pauses, low framerates in busy areas, problems with default aircraft, especially the AP systems.  He even experienced a few CTD.  Worth checking out.

the AP issues were supposed to have been fixed for release...looking at his videos, most are a week or more old which is not release version. 

 

of course we are going to have FPS issues in places like NY with a heavy aircraft on high ultra settings....to be expected.

Just flew my first test flights and it’s not going to replaced P3D or XPlane yet.  Performance in a 9900k with a 2080ti and it’s not pleasant in anything bigger than a Cessna.  Tried 1440p high end and I’m just not yet sold on it.  
 

Need to spend more time with it but so far meh.

Ouch. Have you tried the new Nvidia Driver which has a game profile for msfs? Try turning off AI traffic. Read a few reports that its a framerate killer.

For whatever it's worth, as soon as I turn off live traffic (really any aircraft AI) all my stutters go away.  I'll dig into it more, as I'm sure many others will, this week...but I'd try testing without any AI. Other settings have to be rational for your system. I run at 'high' settings with my specs.

You can try it for a month for $1, so you might be better off doing your own objective review and see for yourself.

Probably be hard to find a completely objective review, however, mine's gonna be honest, that I can promise. I've got no reason to blow sunshine up anyone's @ss when expressing an opinion on something I paid well over a ton for. If it sucks, I'll say so, if it's great, I say that. Currently it is downloading, and in doing so, it's bombing more often than the Eighth Air Force did in 1944.

The implication seems to be that a positive review is obviously not objective. Interesting.

i mean that every reviews says nothing but how visually beautiful it is....

Chewwy flew the 747 yesterday with the release candidate and did comment that almost all of the 747 AP issues were resolved.

So you want to ignore the biggest revolution in flight sim visuals for people reviewing it? What's the point then?
