Nope that could be triggered by the installation of Microsoft Flight Simulator, you are at least aware of it so if you are having troubles when installing just go back into MS Store and run Updates again. Knowledge is key and it is good you are using your time to gain some

130 euro and I am here with the headcache from 2 hours trying to understand why it doesnt work.

after intro, I get the screen "type a key to start" and black screen loop.

 

it is unbeliavable and shame this situation.

Appreciate you guys BIG TIME getting all the background stuff in place before installing here in Canada. When is MS going to stop with all these multiple requirements and really get it together for a one click install process like a Mac? Cheers!

I must say this seems like total rubbish. How in the world is Joe Average supposed to figure out from a 'type any key to start' message that he's missing 'Xbox Identity Provider' app? FAIL.

what does it mean? what to do or check?

I reinstalled now flight simulator app.. it downloaded only about 1gb.. and nothing more.. still blocked in the black screen click to start loop

Go through these steps:

Run Windows Update and update everything
Make sure no Windows Updates are pending
Go into APPS > Store 
Click on the ... 3-Dots in the top right corner
Click on Download and Updates
Click on Get Updates
Restart Windows
Run MSFS in Administration Mode

If that doesn't work go through these steps further:

thank you for support and help but I already tried all that and it doesnt work.

Maybe it will work when it will download the 100gb of game.. at the moment it has download only 1gb.. but if it is uncomplete, why it starts?! Howevery it's a shame to pay € 130,00 for to have so undecent installation problems.

did they test this game before to start it?

Funny, eh? Mid-2020, and one of the world's biggest tech firms can't get something as simple as content delivery of a computer game right. Wonder if this showed up as a bug in alpha/beta testing? 😉 

It will be interesting to see whether this shows up in the Steam roll out tomorrow.

Using the Microsoft App Store is bringing back flashbacks of the days of using EA's Origin store to purchase games. Haven't used it in years, but it was just about as buggy as this is. I really miss the olden days when you could purchase physical copies of games. Finally got things to work after jumping through a few hurdles though!
