PFC Yoke or Throttle

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have a PFC yoke or throttle unit and if so, are they recognised by the sim?

You'll need the PFC DLL and FSUIPC v7 beta, both already up on Pete and John's site.

FSUIPC7 is now a standalone program, and it looks like the PFC DLL, either the com or hid version depending on your device, runs as a DLL within FSUIPC7 instead of under the sim itself.

Thanks!

As I've not installed the sim yet I haven't seen the folder structure.  Does it have a 'modules' folder as per previous FSX legacy sims

Nope...FSUIPC7 goes into its own folder, and PFCDLL in there with it.  It runs as a standalone executable now, not as a DLL loaded by the sim.

Since I don't have the sim for a few more hours, I don't know yet how we might automatically start it with the sim.

I have an older PFC Cirrus Jetliner yoke, but I am also using an external application to assign it to the flight controls.

Best regards

My own app, AxisAndOhs. But it is currently under review and not available to others. It will be released again if and when the current SimConnect troubles with the MSFS release version have been resolved.

Best regards

If you have the usb version of the yoke it will recognize it.

If it is an older yoke (like mine, bought it in 2014) you may have to disable the Windows 10 EnhancedPowerManagenent in the registry for this device. Otherwise it is constantly connecting/disconnecting.

Edit: Disregard, you would have solved that problem already

Best regards

I think I got mine in 2016 (USB)

At this stage I haven't even installed MFS.  MS Store says my device isn't linked to my MS Account which seems to be due to my motherboard change.  Just trying to troubleshoot that first and then I'll join the party

You should be good to go. I think my mine is older then 2016. You still have to calibrate and all that jazz.
