I thought that the overgrown tree in my backyard had finally destroyed the cable internet wires leading to my house. I got online, via cellular, and discovered to my joy that the entire area had no internet service. (You know what I mean. It wasn't just me.) The Comcast website said that internet service should be restored by 3:45PM. It was, thank goodness. I'd have had a coronary. Glad you got it ironed out, and yes, it's always nice to know it's not just you. i7 8700K @4Ghz, EVGA RTX3080 Ultra, 32GB RAM, Two 2K displays. Alpha Yoke, Bravo Throttle Quadrant, CH Pedals.

It would have been thoughtful and forward-thinking to have some sort of information screen here to tell us what's going on at this point. Is it even attempting to download? I have no idea. Many will likely try to reboot. I was coming here to ask the same thing. After wasting time updating Windows, I set my preferences when the launcher opened snd now I’ve got this blue bar that isn’t moving. First try it got stuck for 10 mins on “checking for updates” so I hit alt f4 and restarted, only to come back to a blue bar that doesn’t move past the 1/4 mark.

That music has secret, subliminal messages embedded within it. If you start the sim and suddenly buy $500 from the Marketplace, the subliminal messages worked. 🙂 Processor: Intel i9-13900KF 5.8GHz 24-Core, Graphics Processor: Nvidia RTX 4090 24GB GDDR6, System Memory: 64GB High Performance DDR5 SDRAM 5600MHz, Operating System: Windows 11 Home Edition, Motherboard: Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX, LGA 1700, CPU Cooling: Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling, RGB and LCD Display, Chassis Fans: Corsair Low Decibel, Addressable RGB Fans, Power Supply: Corsair HX1000i Fully Modular Ultra-Low-Noise Platinum ATX 1000 Watt, Primary Storage: 2TB Samsung Gen 4 NVMe SSD, Secondary Storage: 1TB Samsung Gen 4 NVMe SSD, VR Headset: Meta Quest 2, Primary Display: SONY 4K Bravia 75-inch, 2nd Display: SONY 4K Bravia 43-inch, 3rd Display: Vizio 28-inch, 1920x1080. I have ancient Yamaha speakers that came with my first 286 computer. They apparently have an amplifier in them as there's a power switch I can turn off, useful for when I don't wanna hear that music. Also have an earphone jack, tone and volume controls. They've also got pretty darn good sound. 🙂 Hook Larry Hookins Oh! August 18, 20205 yr In my case, smooth install with the MS Store wasn't possible. In fact, NO INSTALL was possible without reinstalling Windows, which I would never do. The issue was the Insider Preview builds. So, that should have been the end of the story - at least until this bug is fixed - which it might never be on the developer ring. However, I took a gamble this evening before the pre-order time was up and cancelled the MS Store purchase and went with Steam. My gamble paid off because thankfully the issue doesn't exist for Steam installs. TBH, based on what the error was I was pretty sure it was MS Store specific so I was pretty sure Steam would fix the problem. Anyhow, now I can happily keep my insider preview and run MSFS. It is downloading the mess of content now. It isn't too speedy but neither is my ISP.
August 18, 20205 yr I’m still stuck before the loading screen... also what is this “Packages Location Selector”? Is this where the sim goes?
