Hi All

Just completed the 6 hour download and installation and itching to try out FS2020. However, althought my Saitek X52 Stick & HOTAS is seen by FS2020, there appear to be no assignments. Completely blank.

Is anyone else using an X52 seeing the same thing?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Thank you very much Anton.

I'll await the fruits of your labours and try appplying them to my X52!

The thought of setting it up from scratch doesn't fill me with enthusiasm!

Thanks again.

I have the saitek X52 (not the pro, the silver one) and when i map the roll -X +X axis and pitch -Y+Y axis , i dont get the white slider bar under each of the assigments in the control configuration menu. and when i fly the X , Y axis is very sticky, doesnt return to center when i remove my hand from the joystick.

Oh btw, my stick seems like it could use some oiling. It kinda sticks or tugs when I move it. Can I put some oil in there without destroying it? 😃

This is a well know issue with the X52. It's because of the spring that pushes this tapered plastic ring down to center it. You can of course try some Teflon spray under that ring ... or any sort of grease that does not eat away plastic.

A way of making the stick a bit loose is to use some metal wire or tie wraps and tie a few windings of the spring together .... this lessens the spring pressure. You could of course also build yourself the 'smoothest joystick in the world'. 🙂

When i try to open the folder windowsapps it tells me access denied, even though I'm admin.
