Not happy yet (but getting better)

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the info, got the TPM to work somewhat, but for the life of me can't figure out why full throttle on the C152 only gives me 1600 RPM. I'm experience simmer and just can't figure out why it wouldn't give me full power...

From my experience on the beta, they screwed fuel mixture up.  You have to lean it before takeoff for optimal power, even on sea level airports.  Unfortunately I see that has not been fixed yet.  😞

Describe that please!

Go to the controls section of the UI and set whatever you want for whatever you want. I have my hat switch set to pan the view around like FSX.

This could either be the fuel mixture bug (don't know if it still exists), it could be you have a deadzone set without realizing it, or it could be a calibration issue. I had to go calibrate my throttle axis in the beta to get it to work right.

Thanks Bonchie and BF Pullup - haven't gone back to the issue and will check it out. I do remember it showing 100% throttle on the dash - so might be a bug... Will let you know my findings when I get a chance

Well I'm stumped - definately not a calibration issue as my throttle shows 100%, yet I can't get over 1600RPM.... I uninstalled and re-installed it with no luck. Happens with all planes, C152, C172... Happy I only bought the base version - havent even been able to go try and find my house yet!!!

It has nothing to do with your throttle.  I checked mine back when beta testing too but turns out the sim does NOT simulate fuel mixture correctly at the moment.  You didn't do anything wrong.  Asobo programmed that aspect of the simulator correctly and they have to fix it in a future update.  For now just lean your mixture as needed (even before takeoffs on sea level) to get the maximum possible RPMs.

You can set POV hat switch however you want. What aircraft is uncontrollable?

Well I've tried to assign up left down right views to my hat switch and nothing happens when I press. I've tried this several times. If you have a step by step solution a lot of people will be grateful.
