MSFS2020 only ran once and after that never more

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Today I installed MSFS2020 De Luxe and at the first attempt of doing so the simulator did run well. After I ended the session I wanted to start MSFS2020 up again, but I only got to the splash screen and the simulator kept hanging in it and froze. I attempted to start over several times, but no success. I then uninstalled the app and tried to reinstall it. It wouldn't even let me download MSFS2020 again, here, too, it kept hanging in the splash screen. I had a chat with Microsoft but they weren't at the moment able to resolve the problem for me.

Have any of you had the same experience and found a resolution for it?

Thanks,

Hans van Wijhe

Kind regards,

ddi you wait a good time at the splash screen....

Sounds like waiting for a couple of months might make sense.

Over an hour, then decided to end the task, uninstall and reinstall. Even downloading for a reinstall doesn't work. It soon will be back to P3D again I am afraid.

Perhaps better to go for a refund and forget about MSFS 2020.
