Has anyone gotten CH Pro Pedal brake axes to work properly?

Featured Replies

I've set the correct axes, L-AXIS X (left) and L-AXIS Y (right). However, when I press the pedals all the way down, they "reset" to the starting position. Ticking the reverse option doesn't do anything.

Have been unable to get anything mapped or working for either CH yoke or pedals. When using the graph boxes can see them moving up and down the diagonal lines.

I had to download the CH Pedals control manager during the alpha/beta to get them to work properly.

What did you do with the manager to get them working, though? I have it installed already.

I set sensitivity to 75 and reversed the axis.  I was literally just trying anything to get them to work properly and that did it for me.  I was experiencing the same issue you described before I did that and have no idea how it fixed the issue.  I hope you get it resolved.

I actually didn't have to install the Control Manager and my Pro Pedals work.  I wish I could send a screen shot of my settings but unfortunately my beta expired and I am waiting for the boxed edition to come to my home next week.  I can't remember exactly what I used off the top of my head.  Make sure All Controls is selected and search for Axis.  I didn't have to change any sensitivity or reverse anything.

OP was already able to set the axis in game though so I don't think that's the issue.

Where did you find this? Can you post link or the file(s)? Can't get anything mapped aside from seeing them slide along the diagonal line in the setup. So frustrating.

Think I've got it working! I just uninstalled CH manager.

LOL.  Just goes to show the weird things that can happen for different users.

GameImpala4135 provided his CH Products Yoke mappings in the Microsoft Simulator Forums halfway down this page: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/ch-products-yoke/124611/15

Edit: Sorry, just realized this topic is for CH pedals.  I'll see if Impala has pedal mappings.

Edit: Found this elsewhere:

Use these keybindings for the CH Pedal toe brakes:

Left Brake - Joystick L - Axis X+
Right Brake-Joystick L-AxisY+
Axis Rudder Set   Joystick L - AxisZ+

Thanks! For some reason it won't let me access it? On the bright side I got the basic maps working manually, after installing and calibrating with the old CH command software. Then went into the game and got maps to the basics. Only problem(s) now are there is no in-game calibration so after takeoff I'm banking right all the time!  Also, game keeps crashing after waiting forever to load. 1 step forward and mapped, 2 steps back and system crash 🙂

Same issue here. They sort of work, but going into sensitivity shows the same dot going from top right to lower left down the line/curve as you push the toe brake (my regular pedals work just fine) and then when I'm halfway through pushing the dot starts climbing back up the line/curve again. That can't possible be correct. The Game Controller device in Windows shows it clearly working correctly. I stand by this NOT being a CH issue (it's just a flipping potentiometer) and more an Asobo issue. Why? Who knows.

i7 8700K @4Ghz, EVGA RTX3080 Ultra, 32GB RAM, Two 2K displays. Alpha Yoke, Bravo Throttle Quadrant, CH Pedals.

I added some 'dead' space and dialed the sensitivity down. Total hack but what else can you do...
