Airac cycle used in MS FS2020

Recommended Posts

It could be that the UI just needs updating to show MFSF 2020, the program already does it's job - find simulators.

I just verified that the 787 displays the correct AIRAC. The 747 and A320 do not.

Another problem is that if Navigraph release full FMS AIRACS and charts, and allow flight plans to be created, as they do for P3D... What happens where airports don't exist in MSFS ?

One example is the famous Unalakleet in Alaska. The navaid is there (UNK), and the airport beacon/buildings... But there's no runways and the airport simply "doesn't exist" in the database or flight planner.

On my machine, Simlink is installed here - C:\Program Files\Navigraph\Simlink

When you launch it, it'll show which simulators are linked, but MSFS2020 isn't on the list at all. Ignore that and make sure Simlink is running before you launch the sim...it just works regardless, then.

Good to know. Worked perfectly today (magenta arrow) showing up on my flight from EHAM to EDDF using the iPAD app. Loving this sim.
