What is happening at LIRF / FCO??

It seems that some planes are "grounded" on the grass (get the joke?? HA HA).And why are they parked so close to each other?? Maybe an Alitalia Strike ? :D :(Maybe All planes where grounded due to a strike but as there was no space left at the Stands, aircrafts parked on the Taxiways ! :(

You can see something similar at almost any airport which is a home base for an airline / fleet or a maintenance center.Most aircraft are parked with a tow tractor and moved with a tug into a different location before engines start.The only aircraft parked with plenty of room - and the only parking modelable in Flight Simulator - is those with a quick turnaround.Check out the way the aircraft are almost stacked on top of each other at KVNY in the thread about the MS "Earth" product. Or Google's satellite photos of KATL.But that is a good photo...
