Definitely has piqued my interest given that your computer specs aren't the best. Well done that man!

You might be interested to know that when the sim first fired up and analysed my PC, it recommended 'high' settings. And it does run okay on those. It'd slow to a crawl on 4K, but fortunately I'm not fussed about 4K, 1080x1920 is fine by me.

That's a lot of why people are having issues with the new sim. It was exactly like that when FSX came out on Avsim, people putting all the sliders onto 'eleven' and then complaining that it didn't get 900 fps. Same now, people sticking the new sim on 4K with everything on 'eleven' and then bitching about it being 'unflyable' because it stutters over NYC. Stupid sods.

Notice with radar version G1000 with actual radar you have option for horizontal  and vertical scan.

Both in there. Works well. Might even make me a convert for glass cockpits. Flew through a thunderstorm once in a little SZD, didn't like it 🤣

The haters could at least leave a comment as to why they disliked the vid...

Just a guess but it may be because the video is shot at night and you can't see the aircraft.  Just a guess, mind you.  (I have never downvoted a video and do not intend to start now.)

Waiting patiently for the daytime video.

Well I never thought this day would come. Here I am waiting for a YT Video because I am contemplating buying a Carenado aircraft.

How's the flight model compared to default aircrafts? A hot topic right now with two very different positions.

FSX | DCS | X-Plane 11 | MSFS 2020 | IL2:BoX

Favorite aircraft currently: MSFS Savage Cub

I took the plunge.

Seems pretty good after a short flight. Sound is not great. Looks really nice. Handling felt right. Rudder trim FTW.

Amusingly, or maybe neato, the sun visors and windows work. However, if you open a window in flight, you get an aircraft crash due to overstressing the airframe. For those who might not know, you can open the windows (IRL) any time you want. It might get loud and maybe cold, but there's no restrictions re the windows.

I think we're all just a little ansy wanting a 3rd party aircraft.  I'll probably wait for the Mooney as there is plenty of glass in the default aircraft.

Might be a stupid question but I'll ask anyway, how do you find the Caranado 182 Manuals please?  Looked everywhere.

Thanks in advance

You could either search your Windows for CT182T or just look in your C182 install folder.  I don't have the Carenado....but example path of a default aircraft:

B:\MSFS\Official\OneStore\asobo-aircraft-208b-grand-caravan-ex\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_208B_GRAND_CARAVAN_EX

If you buy the 182 it might be under Community instead of Official.

Asobo really messed up with WX radars. Many G1000 aircraft by default have radar page but in real life don't have physical radar.  Here is good educational video

I have a monster rig and I chose to run it in 1440p in the end. I can adjust the sliders to where it looks great with little no loss of fps. The only time I've had dips in fps was at night when its initially rendering the data.
