Enable Hyperthreading

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

After trying MSFS for the first time the other day I was so disappointed with the performance - stutters, instability, crashes. I was almost about to give up and wait a few months for it to get better with bug fixes and updates. I could't understand because I'm running a fairly good setup - i7 8700, 32GB DDR4 2666, GTX 1080Ti.

I had Hyperthreading disabled because P3D runs better without it. So I thought I'd try turn it back on in the BIOS and see if there's any difference - Wow it's almost stupid how much of an improvement that made. The thing is actually playable for me now and doesn't run like garbage!

Thought this might help others who experienced the same thing.
