How to delete addons from marketplace???

Recommended Posts

Hello Gang!

I got "suckered" into buying the ORBX London Landmarks addon.  Unfortunately, is so bad that I want to uninstall it.  How do I uninstall addons installed through the marketplace?

Many thanks for the input.

Dennis

Just wait until they update instead of deinstalling it.

If you bought it from within FS:

Profile (tab at the top of the screen)>Content Manager>Search for the addon you want gone>Click the checkbox next to it>Click Delete at the bottom of the screen. It's now gone. You can reinstall it by selecting it again and hitting "Install Selected".

Hey Trainplane.  Thanks for your reply.  I tried your recommendation, but I see no "delete" button anywhere in my screen once I check the item.  Any other ideas?

Thanks.

I dont trust all those “msfs2020” compatible addons, rushed as soon as the sim was released to boost sales, specially from orbx, they are just converting their addons into the new format, and surely they are not optimized.

It will take some time until they make addon fully native for the new sim, having no other similar version for previous sims. meaning it was made from scratch FOR msfs2020

How do you know these things?

Go to Content Manager , check the item you want to remove . At the bottom of the screen you have an option to Delete.

I have it, so that is weird.

You can always delete the folder manually from the install directory, but I don't know if that will break it or not.

The fact that there is a Palm beach Airport Fire rescue tender parked in the Orbx London City Airport would tend to support his assertion.
