August 21, 20205 yr Yeah it’s not a thing. People were like look how cool it is flying through the hurricane... Plane: 0 turbulence.

Have you flown thru that storm with the Cessna 152? Oh no! the image posted was a King Air? A King Air? the most jerky and unrealistic of ALL the default planes!! Its obvious Asobo showed the modelling and FDE potential by setting it as an example in one or two planes, I think the other is one of the acrobatic The rest are just basic. Third parties to do all the synch with nature and gravity Edited August 21, 20205 yr by kapitan

The fact that all the default planes are not doesnt mean they didnt left it prepared

August 21, 20205 yr There is 100% turbulence caused by clouds and storms. There is also a wind bug which will make non-surface winds read 3 knots and you basically get nothing. I've almost had my plane flipped on it's back when it's working right. To say that they didn't even model convective turbulence is false. To say it's buggy is true. The bugs in this case appear to be all data related and not the sim's core abilities. Same with the clear sky bug. Edited August 21, 20205 yr by bonchie
August 21, 20205 yr You guys are saying the same thing.... Besides, everyone on this forum was bitching and moaning in the beginning about how they were worried that Microsoft would monopolize the entire sim and not allow 3rd party development. Now that this sim was made like every other sim.....as a platform mostly with a few planes that are half baked....with specific 3rd party development involvement in mind; everyone is riled up because they need third party add ons. Damned if you and damned if you don't. FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠 Matt Kubanda, 7950X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 5090@4k, MSFS 2024

For me turbulence is there until I engage autopilot....autopilot seem to fly on rails and then it remains that way even after disengaging.
