What to expect with my hardware

Recommended Posts

Hi.

What can I expect with my hardware...it is any chance to game be playable on 1080p. Or I should  upgrade before purchasing fs 2020. My hardware:

AMD Phenom x6 1100t oc to 4.0

32GB ram

Radeon Duo Pro

SSD hdd

200mbs broadband.

Thanks.

Hi,

Should be definitely quite playable with MSFS at 1080p based on their min spec. The Radeon card you have packs quite a punch but you dont state how much VRAM that card has.

Ideally it will need 8GB vRAM to allow all the scenery detail to be streamed efficiently.

The 32Gb RAM of core memory will definitely help. CPU should be sufficient.

Personally, I would try MSFS out first maybe via an Xbox game pass and check you can get reasonable performance out of your current rig before considering any upgrades.

Hope that helps.

Mark
