August 21, 20205 yr Hello, I did my first IFR flight last night from KPHX to PHNL and I never received approach vectors from the controller. They instructed me to proceed direct to HNL and brought me right over the top of the airport at 7000 feet and that was the last vector I received. It has been like 5-7 years since I played, but I thought that in FSX they would vector your entire approach. Once they cleared me into the ILS Y 4R were they expecting me to fly the approach on my own navigation or do I not have something set up properly?
