CJ4 transponder code?

Recommended Posts

How exactly does one go about changing the transponder code in the CJ4? And how do you get the autopilot to follow the flight plan laterally? Using backcourse?

On the Citation CJ4, look at the FMC near the centre. You'll see a button called TUN, that represents communication tuning. There you can handle comm. frequencies and the transponder code. Current transponder setting is labelled 'ATC1'. First you type in your new transponder code using the number pad and then click 'ATC1'. It should switch to the new code.

As for getting the autopilot to follow the flight plan just click NAV I think? If it doesn't work, set a heading hold to intercept the assigned course and then click NAV. When close enough it should catch it and follow the flight plan.

There is NO way to do this, so the ATC will always terminate your flight plan. This is what I call a bug. It has been reported but never fixed. I didn't test the Working Title mod yet but it should solve the problem, I hope...
