@Colonel X Mind quoting it here for us, saves folks logging in?

"Well here I am with cure number 46. Disable dynamic thread boost using Lasso. After 46 failures I didn’t hold much hope of a solution. But have finally found something that made a difference. Now it’s not a total cure for minor stutters, they still happen, but a lot less frequently. Where I found the big difference was the long major stutters during flight, which disappeared. Really noticeable in areas like Los Angeles and Sydney."

You can get Process Lasso here  https://bitsum.com/

Oh sorry, I wasn't aware it's behind a login.

This is sort of an automated version the "click off the game screen" hack, which reportedly helps with stutters. You still have to enable it after the sim launched, but seemingly only once per session. Maybe some sort of profile can be saved, I haven't used Process Lasso before.

Haven't tried it yet but it seems legit.

thats a lot of "Hangar talk" and some guy that looks very confused trying 46 different things in windows and nvidia

Look, everytime you "change" something the system really show a slight improvement until it the programs adapt to the new setting. And after using the sim twice the stutters return

I don't the he is confused. Desperate, maybe. But him sophistically trying dozens of things and sharing them with everybody is appreciated.

It's a flight simulator, not a Terminator.

This is becoming stutter fix simulator rather than flight simulator. try and have patience and it will get fixed very soon hopefully when the patch on the 27th roll out. The simulator isnt going anywhere. Hakuna matata.

Must try this Project Lasso. The game is absolutely smooth for me until I move the mouse and the pointer appears on screen. Instantly the display starts getting choppy even though the Afterburner FPS counter stays showing the same rate. Once the mouse pointer disappears if I alt-tab out and back in again I'm back to completely smooth again. As I only fly GA right now this is the only technical issue I have with the game at all so would be great to get it sorted.
