It has to be done without rush. And as we know that 3rd party Airliners will not be present this year ( AS stated more than a few months ) , I guess that when the MSFS dust has come down that will be the moment LM might release V5.1 with hopefully an improved EA.... 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
September 2, 20205 yr Commercial Member Yeah, flying on Cessna is starting to tire I wonder how quickly gamers get tired of it? You fly and nothing happens. No action. Edited September 2, 20205 yr by BMW969 In jurisprudence, there is a principle - you look for the person who benefits.

If you haven't you might try the TBM930 it's not bad at all. What 'action' are you getting in other flying games? I find the whole distinction between game and sim largely arbitrary. FSCaptain helps add meaning to P3D for me--w/o it, it would just be another flight game. MS going back many years has sort of fostered that idea of always calling it a game. The reason for that I think has been about the money. The truth is that I and folks who like the home cockpit type set up, for lack of a better name, do not pay the MS dev cost. There is just not enough of us. It is the younger guys who have never seen more than the back of the seat in front of them on a tube liner that pays the bills and makes it possible for the rest of us to have the base of a sim. We then have what we need to start with multi monitors, switches and other add ons. We do that because we like the tactile feel those buttons and add ons. It does not mean that gamers are stupid or that we are smarter. It is that we "simmers" have different wants and needs. Here's the thing I see: most people on AVSIM and similar sites believe to call themselves a 'simmer' has ego-oriented connotations they feel aren't ascribable to 'gamers', so IMM it's largely an arbitrary, ego-oriented identification. If you went to the extreme of home cockpit complete w/ multiple screens, high end yokes and intruments, on to full motion simulation platforms, then I think you've earned the 'right' to call yourself a simmer. The rest of us pretenders on no uncertain terms are....gamers, and God knows, that is a bad label to admit to in this environment! At least MS was honest about it, whereas LM demanded thru their EULA you don't dare admit to using the product for 'entertainment', which again I dare say is 97% of all use of non-commericial P3D buyers. Perhaps LM had other reasons unknown to us mortals. Like LM not wanting to ever be slightly seen as an entertainment company when in fact they are a hugely successful Military Contractor that sells Military Aircraft and Weapon Systems, or FAA regulations or even MS requiring just that. Food for thought. Edited September 2, 20205 yr by RamonB Quote Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
September 2, 20205 yr Whatever. I'm a gamer who uses flight sim software and golf software, and enjoy them both immensely. The difference between RL golf and RL piloting is similar--one is pretend, the other is real w/ real consequences. In this regard TGC2019 is a better 'sim' than any desktop 'flight simulator' is, where there are no consequences for mistakes made. FSCaptain helps a bit in this regard by monitoring your performance as a pretend pilot. I’m not a gamer. I use racing car simulators, some use train simulators, farming simulators and who knows what else simulators. But now all of a sudden, after years of Microsoft producing ‘flight simulators’, the latest Microsoft Flight ‘Simulator’ is now all of a sudden a game? Until I can shoot angry pink flying bunnies attacking me from the sky for points, it’s a simulator.
