It will show the a little localizer icon, when you click it the ILS frequency pops up in the Nav window. I took a screenshot but there is no option for me to attach it. Can you be a bit more specific? Do we need to select certain map options first? I do not see anything when zooming in on the map. Edit.. are you taking about the in-flight VFR map? Or the Globe at the Flight Planning screen? Edited September 3, 20205 yr by Bert Pieke Bert

September 4, 20205 yr Also need a way to get updated weather for the arrival airport, so you can program the CDU approach forecast. to be honest, I'm not sure that cdu page even does anything, but still...
September 4, 20205 yr Numerous ways to get weather information. Perhaps not in the Sim but I would never trust it anyway. Assuming that simming weather is correct. Why there needs to be a Weather add on. IMO Edited September 4, 20205 yr by Adrian123

IMO well, the weather that I need information on is the weather in the sim. if the actual real world weather is different, knowing what that is doesn't help me. Agreed about the weather add on, but we don't got one right now

This is not only a very good moving map display but will display navaid frequencys and airfield ICAO indicators. The later can then be entered into the GPS DIR facility to obtain all the airfield details. Hope this isn't 'teaching Granny to suck eggs' 🙂 Where did you find the Flight Connect version for MSFS? On the Vineripesoftware site I just see a version for FSX or P3D and the links are dead. What version are you using? Thanks. September 4, 20205 yr It depends on the aircraft. The Citation Longitude has become my favorite to fly because it has all these niceties and a lot more. Just click on the touch screen above the throttle and you can look any airfield up and get all the info.

In P3d, if you're flying with the default GPS, you can hit the Procedure button and all the ILS frequencies come up for the airport. I wish there were something built into MSFS that could bring up ILS frequencies based on the Arrival airport selected. Stan Ditto!!!! Chris Camp

I believe I have found a workaround for this issue of choosing to go direct to an upstream waypoint in a flight plan using the flight plan functions in the G1000. I have posted it in a new topic in MSFS (2020) Tips and Tricks as "G1000 Direct To: workaround".
