Not sure if others have been trying this.. but one thing I found fun is to  recreate recorded real landings by capturing the same landing in MSFS2020. 

And show side by side video playback.  I was amazed at the detail and similarities.

In similar conditions, the cockpit in the sim is much more readable than in real life. Trying to get true-to-life color, contrast and brightness is incredibly difficult on a computer screen, as we can't do on-screen very well what the real eye can do.
