SDK Untrusted?

Recommended Posts

"Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting."

I'm baffled that the SDK for MICROSOFT Flight Simulator is not recognized by Microsoft Windows. I downloaded the SDK by clicking on the appropriate menu from inside the game itself, so it should be the real deal. Anybody else encounter this issue? Of course I can "run anyway", but I just want do so with a clear conscience, LOL. Perhaps it's because I haven't done a Windows Update in awhile that it isn't recognized, or perhaps this is just another oversight that we grow to expect from Microsoft. 🤷‍♂️

Thoughts?

Maybe there is so little code in there that "Microsoft Defender Smartscreen" thinks it's a virus?
