Has Microsoft been pushing out little updates behind the scene?

I've noticed the aircraft aren't as sensitive as they were before... But as of about 24 hours ago, my sim performance has degraded to almost being unusable.

I've been running 4k on Ultra, in high density areas and storms with no issues. Now, I can't even pan the view from the lag and stutter!

No other updates or changes on my PC.
