Bush flight scenario losing steps in navlog?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone run into a situation where, when they reload one of the bush flying scenarios to finish up the current leg, the rest of the steps in the navlog are missing? I submitted a bug in Zendesk, but I started the Balkans scenario tonight and had to stop partway through the first leg. I quit out of the sim, and when I came back, the rest of the steps in the first leg's navlog are just plain gone! I suppose I'll just have to follow the built-in glass cockpit GPS and compare to the VFR map, because as far as I can see there's no way to reset bush flight progress back to the beginning. Is there someway to do so that I've missed?

I have noticed this also. If you stop and start a couple days later. Glad you found that also as it was driving me crazy (Dont take much).

It would definitely help if there was some reference somewhere of what the airports at the end of each leg were! I ended up having to look at a YouTube video to find what airport code I was supposed to stop at for the first leg. 😀

Have you tried starting the leg of the last airport to see if it credits you for it? I have not.

I was partway through the first leg. When I started the first leg again, it just put me partway through. It didn't give me an option to restart back to the beginning. I was able to complete the first leg by referencing the C172's glass GPS.

Ya, that's what I got. I then gave up after 3 tries. You would think this would be something fixed before release...... ahh. I see why I wasnt invited to be a tester. 🙂

Yes, it usually happens if you resume the trip more than once and also prevents you to complete it in case you know where to land anyway... you just remain on the runway and the sim does not recognize the completion of the leg.

Honestly I would disable the autosave feature completely if I could, also considering the stuttering that causes every minute.

I was in the middle of a mission (to Yosemite) and on the I think 6th leg when I restarted the game again I had no menu visible on the Flight screen (no v for map or n for mission data reaction etc.) so I stopped and restarted again and I was back at the beginning of the missions in Breckenridge  and all my legs are now gone.

I too have been experiencing this issue. I managed to get through the California/Nevada bush trip with no issues. however, when I was flying in the Balkans trip, I got to Tivat, Montenegro, and landed, and it wouldn’t save and jump to the next leg screen for the flight to Tirana, Albania.
