Feedback on Aviaworx Flight Monitor

Recommended Posts

Little request/wish: It would be great to have the option to set the path of the folder where the local flight reports are saved in. I‘d like to send them to my dropbox to review later when I‘m not on my PC.

Thanks!

You can actually do this by using the mklink command in Windows.

Delete the directory Approach Reports.

Create a directory in your Dropbox folder

And use mklink under your aviaServer installation directory to point to the dropbox directory.

Then you will get the functionality you would like to have.

That worked, thanks!

I noticed, after I have 20 approach reports in the local folder, no further approach report is added.
Is this an intentional restriction?

Not at all. During tests I didn't see this limitation.

Once again, please send me your logfile and lastapproach file.

Thanks!

Hi,

I keep getting "Glideslope Deviation" penalties on otherwise perfectly fine approaches every time now. It's always showing "too high"....

Any idea why?

Thanks
Stu

Hi Stu,

I'm having trouble contacting you via email to your icloud address.

Can you please get in touch with me through a different email address perhaps?

I just had an approach with similar result as Stu, it says me 2.48 dot LOW  but I'm not, actually from my view and confirmed by the Graph I was a little bit high on last 500 feet, I'll send you a email with last approach and the report.

Quite some time has passed, just wanted to report, Gatwick has still issues...
It tells me I'm off by 650ft to the centerline, which btw is exactly the distance between rwy 26L and 26R.
