August 30, 20205 yr I play on a 34" ultrawide and i noticed that the images on the sides are stretched out. is this normal? thanks Edited August 30, 20205 yr by Xsist77
August 30, 20205 yr I think there is a setting in graphics that can change this. I’ve forgotten what it’s called though. I’m sure some kind soul will be along in a minute to remind us.
August 30, 20205 yr I think there is a .cfg line that gives better support to widescreen. The default zoom level of the drone camera will also do that effect. it does that on my 16*9 screen as well.
August 30, 20205 yr Be sure to choose an ultra wide resolution for the "Full Screen Resolution" setting under Options -> General -> Graphics. Something like 2560x1080 or 3440x1440 Also set "Display Mode" to "Fullscreen" under Graphics settings. Hope that helps.
September 1, 20205 yr There is a problem with the geometric scaling at the moment. The sim is not optimized for ultra widescreen. “Flying should not be a journey to the destination with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved Aircraft, but rather to skid sideways in a cloud of smoke down the runway, engines on fire, passengers screaming, physically worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! That was one hell of a Ride and we're on Schedule!”
