Ortho4XP for FS2020 - Custom aerial/Photo Scenery

Featured Replies

Not sure about you guys. But i was really expecting users tweaking the process to put it in the sim.

It's finally here. I'm gonna use it due to the low quality of the imagery in my country.

Kudos to the FSDeveloper community!

You can find a PDF guide in the following thread.

Why not use the build in caching system? It does the same thing without having to fiddle around with external tools.

Cache system only works with Bing data, on some places is as old as 2012.

You can choose whatever Satellite Data you want (Google, Bing, AOC, NID, etc)

Awesome, this will make adding most of the missing airports much easier, because Google Maps has the imagery for them.

Here's a small test.

Choose a random data (Google) for testing purposes on my own scenery that im working on.

No Post processing was made. Data on Bing on this particular picture is from 2012. From google 2020. So its always a better choice if you are looking for the latest information whatever you reason.

On this small aerodrome, Fields around it, are never all green, but since it is an agricultural area, the colors are different between plots. Which is not happening on the bing data.

Keep in mind it's not fully developed as the xplane 11 counterpart. (Post Processing)

We have more options and that's always a good thing.
