Is this a placeholder for the upcoming patch or is it supposed to be applied now somehow?

There is already a post like this a few threads down. Its core files that are already there and has been showing since Beta apparently.

This is a bug that has existed since the alphas, and it’s been discussed extensively over the last week & has been used to justify theories that an upcoming update will be 80 GB, which is very much false.

Oddly enough this is the first time I recall seeing it... Guess I was deliberately searching due to the recent update news.  Go Figure!

No worries! You’re not alone. I saw it last week and tried restarting, and when nothing happened I realized it was just a glitch. I’ve just been frustrated because people around the MSFS forums keep on pushing the false info that the coming update will be 80 GB lol

IMO, it's inexcusable to release a title knowing this existed. I can deal with Bugs etc but this is Major!
